FAQ

Where are you based & do you charge a travel fee?

Hayley Neal is based on the Southern end of the Gold Coast, Queensland. Travel fees are included in prices for locations within the local Gold Coast area. Areas outside of this, including interstate travel, are quoted upon inquiry.

How will I receive my images?

You will receive your images in a carefully curated online digital gallery that is password protected for your security.
All images in your gallery are considered full resolution and are suitable for any medium - print or digital. Hayley Neal Photography does not currently offer print packages, but by providing you with full resolution images you can organise printing at your leisure. Speciality and fine art pieces can be and are encouraged to be arranged with Hayley Neal upon request.

What should I do to prepare for my equine session?

All sessions offered by Hayley Neal Photography are laid back, worry-free experiences. The amount of preparation is completely up to you, but there are several suggestions.

Outfit changes may be available depending on session, so make sure to bring different options. Always dress appropriately for the weather, but you can wear anything from casual, dress, or horse show attire.

As for the horses, I’d suggest you do whatever show preparation that you might do for a competition, for example: clipped, clean, hooves painted, a clean bridle (and make up if you desire!)

I also always recommend having a second person there to help if at all possible, especially with outfit changes.

What should I do to prepare for my canine session?

All sessions offered by Hayley Neal Photography are laid back, worry-free experiences. The amount of preparation is completely up to you, but there are several suggestions.

Dogs should be in a comfortable environment that they have experienced before so you can ensure they are focused on you as needed. This can include the family home, their favourite park, the beach - the options are endless! It is handy for dogs to know basic obedience commands like sit, stay, and look at me, but these are not necessary.

I also always recommend having a second person there to help if at all possible.

Can you edit that?

I am fairly skilled when it comes to editing in and out things. For all private equine and canine sessions, I will remove any scratches, scars, or knicks on the animals face or body - I want to present the them in their best possible
appearance.

However, if the animal or tack is dirty, unkempt, or presented poorly I can only do so much. It is always best practice to give the highest possible opportunity for the most beautiful shot on your end first.
